Speakers:

Demi Habegger is a Data Science Manager at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA), where she leads the development and assessment of AI and machine learning (ML) solutions for clients across industries, including small and large Nonprofit organizations. With a Master’s in Applied Data Science and a specialization in Sports Analytics, Demi brings over four years of experience designing, training, and validating AI/ML models with a focus on reliability, compliance, and performance. Demi has led projects that apply generative AI, deep learning, and natural language processing to automate decision-making, streamline operations, and improve AI readiness. She has performed risk assessments and validation for ML deployments, including evaluating algorithmic bias, assessing governance frameworks, and reviewing documentation for regulatory alignment. Demi is active in educating internal and external stakeholders on emerging AI/ML regulations and industry best practices through webinars, speaking engagements, and client workshops.

  • Master of Science – Applied Data Science, Specialization in Sports Analytics in Indianapolis, IN


Erik Frost Hollins (they/them) is the executive director of strategic communications for California State University, Los Angeles. Since arriving in May 2024, they have completed a departmental reorganization. The new management team supports staff in achieving measurement-driven benchmarks through public relations best practices.

Frost Hollins brings 20 years of professional experience to the Cal State LA team, with a significant portion in speechwriting and executive storytelling. Their career started in the California Governor’s Office, followed by the California State University Office of the Chancellor, Coast Community College District, and various consulting roles. Frost Hollins earned a dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science from California State University, San Bernardino and a Master of Public Administration from California State  University, Long Beach. A longtime resident of Los Angeles County, they believe in the power of public education to transform lives and in the responsibility of communicators to help tell those stories with integrity—because at Cal State LA, We Are LA.


Thien Ho is the Vice President of Global Corporate Communications and Social Impact at Herbalife. Throughout her career, she has driven all facets of corporate communications, government affairs, community relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and brand communications for multinational, market-leading enterprises. As a trusted executive advisor, she works with C-level leaders and teams across the organization to build new communications functions or elevate existing operations to help increase shareholder value, impact business goals and revenue, engage diverse teams internally, and protect the corporate reputation. Since 2016, she has also served as a commissioner for the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, a mayoral appointment. Prior to Herbalife, she served as Senior Vice President of Communications for Sony Pictures Entertainment, Senior Director of Corporate Communications at The Wonderful Company, Executive Director of Global Communications and Public Affairs at Dine Brands Global, Director of Corporate Communications and PR at the Panda Restaurant Group, and Manager of Community and Government Relations at the Los Angeles Dodgers.


Brian Sheridan is the Senior Director for Braille Institute of America, over a 23-year career in nonprofit organizations, Brian has had the unique privilege of bringing together the collective power of hundreds of organizations to create greater impact for social good. Brian works closely at the intersection of fundraising, programs and communications to drive greater impact for the organizations he’s worked for.

Brian came to the Braille Institute of America (BIA) in July of 2023 and was recently promoted to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. This newly established position plays a critical role in BIA’s recently launched strategic plan - Mission Magnified - a blueprint to serve more than 200,000 people with low vision or blindness by 2030. Partnerships are key to significantly scaling our ability to serve more people, expand our revenue mix, and grow our brand.

Brian regularly speaks on issues of accessibility, highlighting the practical things organizations can do to help be more inclusive. From adopting the Atkinson Hyperlegible Font to creating employee resource groups around inclusion and belonging to adding braille where appropriate, there are things every organization can do to create a friendlier world for low vision individuals.
