About Mayor Jeff Maloney

Mayor Jeff Maloney was first elected to the Alhambra City Council in 2016 and has remained focused on advancing good governance, sustainability, housing, and economic development. In December 2025, he was selected by his fellow councilmembers to serve as Mayor, a role he will hold through August 2026.

Throughout his time on the Council, Mayor Maloney has prioritized thoughtful, transparent leadership and long-term planning that strengthens Alhambra’s neighborhoods and business community. He has championed policies that promote responsible growth, support local businesses, and expand housing opportunities while maintaining the character and quality of life that residents value. He has a clear heart for residents, and goes above and beyond to ensure that their voices are heard and represented.
