In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Advancements in early detecti9on methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5 year relative survival rate of breast cancer is 99%. Arroyo Vista Family Health Center offers the Every Woman Counts (EWC) program. EWC program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings and follow-up services. This includes clinical breast exams, mammograms, and Pap tests to eligible women in California.
